Os indicados ao prestigiado Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards 2025 foram revelados, e a disputa promete ser eletrizante. Uma editora em particular surge como a grande favorita, acumulando um número impressionante de nomeações que acende um debate apaixonado entre os fãs e a indústria. A editora Fantagraphics está no centro das atenções, liderando a corrida com nada menos que 24 indicações (25 no total, contando com uma compartilhada). Um feito notável que demonstra a força e a diversidade de seu catálogo. Mas a competição é acirrada! Gigantes como a DC Comics, com 10 indicações, e a First Second/Macmillan, empatada com a Abrams em 7 nomeações (9 incluindo as compartilhadas), também mostraram sua potência criativa. A Pantheon surge logo atrás, com 6 indicações, mais uma em parceria.


Outras editoras de peso também marcaram presença: Image Comics com 5 indicações (e mais 7 compartilhadas), BOOM! Studios com 5 (e outras 5 em colaboração) e Dark Horse com 2 nomeações (e impressionantes 9 compartilhadas). Essa variedade de editoras demonstra a riqueza e a vitalidade da produção de quadrinhos em 2024.


No pódio dos criadores, o talentoso Tom King reina absoluto com quatro indicações. Logo atrás, um time de estrelas com três indicações cada acende a disputa: Leela Corman, Bilquis Evely, Emil Ferris, LeUyen Pham, Ram V, Javier Rodriguez, Olivier Schrauwen, James Tynion IV, Gene Luen Yang e Quentin Zuttion.


E quando o assunto são obras individuais, Mulher Maravilha Absoluta dispara na frente com cinco indicações. Seguindo de perto, "História de amor do ano novo lunar" e "Helena de Wyndhorn" conquistaram quatro nomeações cada. Outras obras aclamadas como "My Favorite Thing Is Monsters Book Two", "Zatanna: Bring Down The House" e "Parade" receberam três indicações cada, enquanto "The Road" figura com duas.
